It stays on your device by default. We don't sell it, and we never send your feeding data anywhere — not which breast, not when. If you turn on optional cloud backup, your history is stored privately under your own account so you can restore it on a new phone.
With cloud backup on (part of Premium), you sign in on the new phone and restore your history. Without it, your history lives only on the old device — so if that matters to you, that's what backup is for.
No, and that's deliberate. A timer is something you have to remember to stop — at exactly the moment you're most likely to fall asleep, which gives you wrong data rather than missing data. Tapping L or R is the log. NextSide tracks which side and when, not how long.
Not right now — NextSide handles one baby, deliberately, so the main screen stays instant. If you have twins, an honest recommendation: a paper chart on the wall works better than any single-baby app. It's on the roadmap and you can vote for it below.
No. NextSide answers a logistics question — which side is next — and nothing more. It can't tell you whether feeding is going well. For anything about supply, latch, weight gain or pain, talk to a lactation consultant (IBCLC) or your pediatrician.
In your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, like any other subscription — we never hold onto it. Cancel and you keep using the free app exactly as before; you just lose the widget, lock screen, Watch and backup.
